Why in the world would you buy these shin guards? They cost $99, why would you spend that much money on the most insignificant piece of gear a soccer player wears. They are light though, only 3.4oz, but so what. Carbon Fiber, that sounds fancy, maybe Nike will come out with carbon fiber implants for your shin so you won't even need shinnies.

Rich People, not the common people like me. $400 cleats, $100 shin guards, it is too much. Nike is for people like Ronaldo, they rich, not the hard working middle class.
